This painting is all about the feelings I have for my parents & how they did the best that they could with what they had & what they knew. They have passed from this life onto the next, but the love they showed me lives on. It is being passed on to my beautiful daughter.
About Denise Hoag
The love of Art began for Denise as a child; drawing on anything and everything. After four years of Fashion Design study, she began creating Wearable Art and teaching workshops on fun, rebellious sewing techniques. Denise's Wearable Art Garments have exhibited worldwide with the Bernina & Fairfield Fashion Shows. Denise then discovered a new love: painting with acrylics. She says: "Being free to paint feels like a bird being let out of a cage." So she freed her parakeets and they fly free with her in "The Soaring Peacock Studio".
